Since I was a child I knew that I wanted to tell stories through the making of pictures and objects. What started out as a career in illustration has taken turns in textile design, graphic design, painting, sculpture, saddle making and leather work, jewelry and furniture making.
Though I may be making a table or a cabinet, somewhere during the design or making process a story will begin to emerge and become the driving force towards the finished piece. The story may be evident in the title, the surface texture, or the actual form of the piece.
Under "+ pieces" you will find a page called "in progress". This is where you will find what I am working on. I often start pieces with a scaled model and you will find many of them shown here. Some of the models will never be made and some have already been delivered to clients.
